[info]otoshigo ponders (in the cut text, lol): "Can someone explain to me why the official Capcom illustrations have the lawyers all doing sexy poses?"

Had a rather memorable dream this morning. That familiar brown-eyed figure from my junior high years popped up again, although he had blue eyes this time; not really quite sure what that's supposed to signify. Anyway, we were in this odd place that looked a little like a theater, except we were volunteering to go on various missions/assignments/something. Somewhere along the line, I got the idea that it didn't matter what mission I went on, so I just volunteered for the same one that he did. But here's the part that interested me: there was no specific thing that I remember that tipped me off to the fact that I was dreaming; I just sort of realized it. This is good. This means that I'm learning to tell the difference between the real world and a dream world, which should greatly increase my chances of getting lucid.

Anyway, upon realizing it was a dream, I left the theater-thing, dragging him with me, but I don't remember what happened after that. Still lucid, the next thing I remember is being inside a small cabin-house and wanting to get outside and fly. Rather than walk out the door like a normal person, I actually pulled myself up through the supposedly solid ceiling. o_O I somehow got myself up to the ceiling and used my arms to pull myself through, and then repeated to get through two more layers before making it outside. It's supposed to be difficult, I thihk, to be able to pass through solid objects in dreams, so I guess this is a good sign, too.

For some reason, I find myself really liking this:

Continuing somewhat in the same vein as the last one, I had another dream this morning. It began with something about Angie wanting an apple and I went off somewhere to get one (yeah, I don't know either). Mom drove me around in the van (I think Ben was there too) and we ended up at a restaurant where I had been set up on a date. o_O' Two of them, actually. The first guy was a lot older than me and had a daughter, and we didn't really hit it off, but the second guy was two years older than me and I ended up really liking him. He was very courteous and we had a lot of interests and things in common. I can't remember what his name was; I wish I could.

I am amused by the fact that I think I know what caused this; see previous entry. Heh. It's a combination of the two, I guess.

Time for class. I can't find my notebook. >_>'

I liked the exclamation points better than the life bar. I can be protective of exclamation points and count them and hoard them, but it's kind of hard to get excited about a life bar. ;.;

This game has awesome quotes. XDD

Phoenix: (What is it!? Is it my hair? Is too spiky? Not spiky enough!?)

Phoenix: (She's probably scared out of her wits after having a murder take place right near her.)
Phoenix: Lotta?
Lotta: GAWDDON'TLETITBEMENEXT!

XDD Okay, I think I love Pearl already:

Ah, she's so cute. <3 And it seems she's a channeller, too. Phoenix said that her way of speaking was very proper; I wonder what that sounds like in Japanese. ...Speaking of which, I've been rather impressed with the localization team for these games so far. They made things more familiar to westerners without losing any of the important stuff, like the flavor of Kurain Village.

Hah, I bet Lotta is from Osaka in the Japanese version. ...Hey, I'm right!! :D I guess an Osaka accent would translate into a southern accent in America. That, and the whole exaggerated manner.

Phoenix: (Stop it! Get over it, Phoenix! That person is already gone...)

Aww... Is someone pining? ;D

Hmm, this Magatama thing is interesting. It's a cool ability, but I would rather they have left the spiritual power out of it. It's one thing to read a person's body language to detect when they're hiding something and then coax it out of them; it's another thing entirely to use some sort of magic to pry into people's minds. Doesn't sit well with me.

Oh, yes, he's seriously pining. <333
